Lactation pods at top of stairs

Free poetry machine

§  Nursing Mothers Room

  • Location: At the top of the escalator/stairs leading to A gates, make a 180 right turn and you’ll see two locked doors, these are the “Lactation Spaces”

  • Access: Need to call to be let in, so plan for a little wait as it can take a few minutes for a staff member to walk over and unlock the doors.

  • Set-up: A chair, outlet and table are inside.  It’s pretty basic but functional and private.

  • Other; There are very limited food options, it is a small airport, and they open late and close early. It’s easy to get through security, but plan accordingly for food.

The airport has a free poetry machine near the stairs, it prints off short or long-form poetry for kids, adults or anyone. Most are local authors and it’s a fun way to entertain the kids and get a new read.

If renting a car BEWARE as of September 2023 they did not have any fast-track option for getting the keys, you have to wait in line. I arrived on a football game day and had to wait 35 minutes to pick up at Hertz and was lucky to get a car. Budget/Avis had 30 people in line and no clean cars, people had to wait nearly 2 hours-with kids that would have been a disaster. Consider taking uber and renting from a location in-town.
