Airport: Seattle-Tacoma (SEA)

Kids area & nursing space is elite.

Store near main atrium has essentials and kid treasures.

Nursing Mother’s Room & Kids Area

  • Location: Concourse A next to Qdoba (just inside security near the juncture to other concourses). There are other spaces throughout the airport as well.

  • Access:

    • Nursing: Indicator on door shows if it’s available for nursing.

    • Kids’ Play Area: Open area to enter, very visible to passerbys but has a great assortment of seating and activities for kiddos. If you have a long layover, this can definitely help kids burn some energy and have fun. Only thing I’d note is a few single, male travelers had decided to sprawl out on the couches and nap. Signs are clear this shouldn’t be done, but still, they did. If they had woken up, it would have been an issue, but they had their faces covered with a jacket so it wasn’t creepy just a little out of place.

  • Set-up:

    • Nursing: The nursing room is connected to the play area and you access through the doors off to the side. There are plenty of seats to sit and nurse in the play area as well if you have other kiddos running around.

    • Play Area: Slide, plane, area to run, chairs, couches, artwork on walls, Little Library outside. Really great set-up for little ones.

  • Other:

    • I have found that in Concourse C & F there are limited water refill stations available, fill up when you see one once through security or you may be retracing your steps if you prefer to refill your water bottles.

    • There is a very cute store by the main atrium once through security (near the places to eat). It has high-end baby gifts, gear and novelties. It wouldn’t be a cheap way to kill time, but it does have a lot of fun things to look at. Be advised, a lot of breakables and a bit tight so strollers may not be a good call in here.
